Everything seems to be very sturdy*. The utility pouches (3 of them) are large enough to be useful and the rifle mag pouches can each hold 2 pmags (three if you push hard but then getting them out quickly 1 at a time can be an issue, 2 pmags and a GI mag work pretty well (put GI in the middle) three GI mags per pouch works great. There are 6 pistol mags that take Glock mags with no problems at all. The back of this thing has loops and rings for attaching butt back type items. Get one on sale while you can.
*The buckles on the pouches seem to be the weak link here if there is a weak link. I haven’t had any problems with them yet they just don't feel as tough as the rest of the vest. We will see how they hold up in the Alaskan cold this winter.
